Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yay, Pambiche! Did you move, erin_o?

In Portland.

I am hungry now.

I've taken to loving to whip up my own quiches--with a nice hash brown crust. They whip up pretty quickly and feed me for at least four meals, sometimes more. Love them.

I think I'm done for the day. This is evidenced by the Mike's Hard Black Cherry Lemonade I've started. The next couple of weeks will be long and crazy. I'm gonna let myself take the rest of today. Buffy time!

(Relatedly, my dad has started watching Buffy. He watched the first four episodes yesterday. So far he's not hooked, but I've told him to give it through the beginning of season 2. He's willing. So, that's good. Mom told him he can watch it all by himself...she will have none of it. It is much too weird. That kind of cracks me up.)

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Wow. If I could only bring my family to watch the stuff I watch... The closest I got was my sister, who watched Charmed (which I disliked. Still, the closest...).

ION. I found out that both Bruno Latour and some very good chocolate I had yesterday come from Côte-d'Or (as well as Phillip II, Count of Nevers - but that's irrelevant). Coincidence? I don't think so!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BUT I have found that I love their "flatbread" pizza-ish things.

Mmm, yeah, those are so good. I love the mushroom and whatever one. I also like the regular frozen pizzas, though, especially the spinach and tomato.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Erin, B just called and I mentioned to him that you wanted me to come visit. His immediate response - well, you have a place to stay. So thank you for enabling and time to set up a fare alert to KC!

YAY! You could also stay with us, but it would be more fun to stay with your crush!! Come to KC! I will take you out and we can do fun things! We can get BBQ and Christopher Elbow ice cream! Just let me know; I would be happy to do airport pick ups and such.

Hmm. This hash brown crust quiche intrigues me. Can anyone post a recipe?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Omnis, I think the third pic of you in front of the landscape is your strongest one. Sorry you're not getting what you'd like out of OKCupid. (I would have used an emoticon here. B.org makes me realize I've gotten into the emoticon habit elsewhere and have to censor it here.)

Back from checking out 3 sites for a community garden. Tired, mostly from the sugar crash due to drinking OJ. The commissioner and the other gardener who got insta-drafted with me are very hopeful about things. Their sense of it is that the city council is pro-community garden and that the iron fist legislation may be due to a well-meaning city attorney trying to protect the city from every eventuality.

It's true I tend to be a pessimist. Wish I weren't. OTOH, I have my uses, too, because I spotted some problems they didn't and they agree that it's worth trying to get that legislation changed.

Christopher Elbow ice cream!

I have got to get back to KC soon!

Thanks! Moved it to the top. It's the oldest pic, but it's a nice one of me. It's what I use for a lot of profile pics. It got mediocre ratings in the pic eval. But I'll take the advice of a Buffista over random picture survey ANY day of the week! Plus, it was an interesting climb to get to. Not an easy thing on crutches. And where I learned to play a didgeridoo!

I know, right? Confuses the heck out of me. I mean, my hair isn't the best, but I look good. And a martini glass! Hello! James Bond! I dunno. I left it in.
