[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thanks, sweetie. This whole process just makes me feel too self conscious to every possible flaw, not necessarily with me but also in future jobs.

I think I'm gonna watch some Buffy to feel better about myself.

Also, I think I proved myself to be an information manager. I answered another ad. That ad didn't have an email/contact method on. 2 minutes on the clock of googling the name and the organization by guessing possible email address gave me what I looked for.

Getting the emails of organizations is sometimes way too easy.

Edit: and wish me luck with a professor of a class I really want to take. BA advisor approved, to my surprise.

And, wow. Something's good going on with the job~ma of Buffistas. Got some kind of an offer I'd like to take, but nothing's official. I'd love ~ma to that (and my God, I can't wait to share the details of the original address to me if that will happen). I thank you so much for your ~mas so far.

Edit 2: what do you think is best? I want to wait and meet the professor of the class I want to take in person, but her students' hour is on Wed., and we begin studying on Sunday. Should I email her immediately?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Wow, Shir, that was fast! omnis is clearly the go-to guy for theybetterhireyou~ma. (Though the fact that you're articulate and smart and capable and extremely fun and interesting probably didn't hurt either.)

Lots and lots of ~ma to your MIL, Burrell, and to your whole family, and to the surgeons caring for her.

Ugh. I'm still so, so tired; I should have taken half an Ambien when I had the chance, with the first wake-up at 1:00. But I convinced myself to try to fall asleep again on my own, which I did...for an hour. Then awake again at 2:30, 4:30 and now, at which point I gave up.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Lots of ~ma for your MIL, Burrell.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Good vibes heading to your MiL, Burrell.

Lots of ~ma, Shir!

I think they would still stalk us without the work, because of our connections, but I wouldn`t feel obligated to friend them I just think I should use fb less.

Liese, have you even met these people? I just send a polite note to randoms saying that I only friend people that I know. No one's ever got shirty about it. Couldn't you just send a message saying, "I reserve my Facebook circle for close friends, but feel free to friend our ministry page" or summat?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Okay, I'm going to be twitchy all day. Today is October 4. Tim's mom died on August 4, and my Uncle Steve died on September 4.

See a pattern?

Okay, the (teeny tiny) rational part of my brain is all, "Hi, 2 occurrences is NOT a pattern," but my lizard brain is all, "STFU, man! IT'S A PATTERN."

So I'm just hoping to make it through the day with no one keeling over.

(I don't need brackety hugs and shit; I just wanted to share my neurosis. Hi, have some crazy.)

2 occurrences is NOT a pattern

Unless you're the NYT.

I hope your day is completely uneventful, Steph. I wish you boring.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern. So you see? Totally not a pattern.

Boring is good. So, everyone: stay alive today, as a favor to me, m'kay?

Ugh. Home ownership, I have concluded, is a pain in the ass.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

HappyBirthdayandMerryChristmas2010&2011tome!

Yup, happy fun tiem for you. May you absolutely love your new floor, and get to enjoy it without further flooding until years from now when you are bored with it and wanted to replace it anyway.

(I don't need brackety hugs and shit; I just wanted to share my neurosis. Hi, have some crazy.)

How about sitting still, eyes closed, facing away from you, but near enough that you know we're here, like a cat? I can do that, you know, from a distance.

Compassionately intolerant

Oh Sparky, I missed the part about the flood. So, so sorry that happened. It must have been a mess.

I'm grateful my landlord finally had a part of my roof repaired before this last rain. It was crazy pouring.

I hope the repairs go easily and quickly.
