Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern. So you see? Totally not a pattern.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I hope your day is completely uneventful, Steph. I wish you boring.
Boring is good. So, everyone: stay alive today, as a favor to me, m'kay?
We are replacing the floor in the basement after the Friday's flood. HappyBirthdayandMerryChristmas2010&2011tome!
Ugh. Home ownership, I have concluded, is a pain in the ass.
HappyBirthdayandMerryChristmas2010&2011tome!
Yup, happy fun tiem for you. May you absolutely love your new floor, and get to enjoy it without further flooding until years from now when you are bored with it and wanted to replace it anyway.
(I don't need brackety hugs and shit; I just wanted to share my neurosis. Hi, have some crazy.)
How about sitting still, eyes closed, facing away from you, but near enough that you know we're here, like a cat? I can do that, you know, from a distance.
Oh Sparky, I missed the part about the flood. So, so sorry that happened. It must have been a mess.
I'm grateful my landlord finally had a part of my roof repaired before this last rain. It was crazy pouring.
I hope the repairs go easily and quickly.

I love you WS.
In Other Less Poopy News: Matilda's party went off without a hitch.
I had a dream about Matilda last night! I was staying over at your place, crashing on the couch, and she came over and woke me up and instantly entertained me with many interesting discussions and conversations. She also had a super short hair cut (like her mom) and gold earrings.
I enjoyed my time with Dream Matilda very much!
I love WS too.
Steph, I get you. I'd be worried too - for no reason - but I'd be worried. Because really, there's no reason.
Oof. Now I want to send breckets anyhow. Let me stick to WS' method, then.
It must have been a mess.
It was. And DH was out of town.
We are having it all leveled, and putting in a high-end, waterproof vinyl plank floor, that will look like hardwood from the top of the stairs (standing on it, well, it probably won't fool you, but you still might be impressed).
I keep telling myself it will cost less than the gutters/roof we had to replace after the ice storms (for which my DH was also out of town - I take it back, what I said about 2 occurrences not being a pattern, because this is clearly a pattern) and I will enjoy this more, since we use those rooms a lot.
Hey Tep, I am pulling for October 4th to be completely free of trauma for you guys. (and for the rest of us!!)
bonny! You would have been soooo proud of Frankie last night! His bestie boxer pal Roscoe was over last night and Roscoe's mommy and I were eating dinner. I put Frankie in "place" on his bed, but Roscoe was clambering all over the couch where we sat, and then trying desperately to provoke Frankie into playing. Frankie didn't BUDGE.
...well, until I made the mistake of petting Roscoe. Jealous butt. So I put him back in "place" and he stayed. But given that he's never had to keep "place" with another doggie provoking him, I was very impressed he stayed there for 15 minutes, despite extreme temptation. I praised the heck out of him and gave him a treat.
