Ugh Raq, sorry that the week was such a pile-on. Glad to hear the recuperation is going well.
On the plus side, I can probably start a side business selling Percoset now.
I still have a bunch of vicodin from my surgery last December. After about two days I had to switch over to Advil. I just couldn't hang with the vicodin anymore.
Oof. I wrenched my shoulder out of joint by trying to take off a cardigan after I was already sitting in my car. All the muscles and tendons around it are now incredibly sore. Driving home without moving my left arm or turning my head more than a few degrees to the left was interesting.
Oy Hil. And sorry about the pain Raq.
My neighbor is playing the drums. Argh. Why can't they at least put the drums in the basement, so that the ground will absorb most of the noise?
Ugh, Raq, that's a suckasaurus of a week. I slay it for you.
::stab stab stab::
Now it is the weekend filled with tasty confections, potent potables and brilliant gaming campaigns. (For you.)
What a lousy week, Raq. I hope the next one is a vast improvement.
And I hope your shoulder feels better soon, Hil.
This is one of those times where I really wish I was on the East Coast and could grab Mal and HKF and take them for a day while Raq and Sox go for a 24-hour spa treatment. Sorry to both of you that you've had such a rotten time of late.
Also, I totally forgot to report here on my evening with Sox and family. First, HKF is spectacularly charming and cute. Steve fell for her completely. And the second important thing is that Sox is looking F-I-N-E with her hot new haircut. OMG greatest cut ever.
Raq, I'm glad the sucktastic week is over. Those drainage tubes are a complete pain in the ass. The worst scars from my reduction surgery are where my drainage tubes were. And when they get tugged on. YIKES!
