And what's the fun in becoming an immortal demon if you're not regular, am I right?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

You can do it, smonster! So exciting!

Jars, that's the kind of promotion I got. Sucks.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Yay smonster! I think you are doing the right thing (says the woman who moved cross country for no good reason other than choosing in favor of my passions.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The two mantras of mine I can't shake are "Nothing scars you deeper than the things you haven't done" and "Choose in favor of your passions." I'm pretty sure if I don't take this opportunity I will regret it. So I'm going to call their office when it opens, drive over there to sign an offer, and come back and give notice. Ohgodohgodohgod okay I can do this.

This is the logic I'd have gone with as well. Regrets come from the things we don't do.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I would have done it too. Best to do it when you're single. I kind of miss being able to pick up and move anywhere just because. I hope it turns out to be a dream job, smonster!

I hope the test is going well for Sox.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, smonsters! Best of luck to you!

~ma for Jilli and Sox.

I'm headed back to the doctor today, and I have been off the steroids for over a week now, so I am hoping that she has answers for me. It has been so difficult having a bottle of pills that I know would make me feel better, and not take them.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

...now if I could only get the HR person to call me back and confirm that I can go sign an offer today. Jeebus H. Fucksticks. Clearly I can't expect any kind of competence from HR, good to have low expectations going in.

sj, I hope she has answers for you too.

I'm going to have to go back to bed. I have work to do, but can't think well enough to do it. Maybe an hour from now things will make more sense.

Considering HR seems not to be the best, smonster, please take the time to read the offer and make sure it says what it is supposed to say.

Much luck at the doctor, sj.
