Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

sj, I hope she has answers for you too.

I'm going to have to go back to bed. I have work to do, but can't think well enough to do it. Maybe an hour from now things will make more sense.

Librarian Warlord

Considering HR seems not to be the best, smonster, please take the time to read the offer and make sure it says what it is supposed to say.

Much luck at the doctor, sj.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Clearly I can't expect any kind of competence from HR, good to have low expectations going in.

This is something I have experienced a lot. (no offense, Scrappy!!!)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Okay, turns out she's doing phone interviews today, so I've emailed her instead. And I think she can email me the offer, and I can sign it and fax it back, so I may not have to leave work and drive to Raleigh. Which would be good. I retract approximately 75% of today's bitching.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I retract approximately 75% of today's bitching.

Maybe you could put it in storage in case someone needs it later.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I would have done it too. Best to do it when you're single. I kind of miss being able to pick up and move anywhere just because.

Of course, last time you did that, Missy, you wound up not single and with two additional children iirc...

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm confused about the costume thing. Because I agree that oversexualizing teens and preteens is bad, but when I finally got my breasts, I did go through kind of a brief low-cut phase. I think it was kind of natural, although my mother wasn't thrilled about it. And I can't really say that pop culture made me do it, because I was a geek, more or less, and didn't get exposed to that much of it.

Oh wait, hang on, I need a bit back - just found out that my health insurance won't kick in for 90 days, so I'll need to pay for COBRA until then, which will be about 25% of my net pay for those three months.
