JZ, TJs has good vegan cookies of various sorts, choc chip and trail mix I think. And soy ice cream or--even better--coconut based ice cream are nummy vegan treats too.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Marshmallow is made with gelatin.
Not the kosher ones!
They're made with kosher gelatin which is often made of fish.
You can make veggie rice krispy treats with marshmallow Fluff, but I don't know about its dairy properties.
yikes, smonster. I know I had a very similar situation when trying to come on board here, and it sucks! I hope it works out though...
omg coconut milk ice cream is da bomb! Expensive though. I always look at the coconut milk stuff and end up buying two Ben & Jerry's instead.
I've never seen the kosher ones in the store. The kids probably could have eaten those. Dang.

Fluff is made with egg.
Vegan treat recipes:
Hmm. Most of the ones I can find online are more "adult" type, with things like green tea or cappucino flavor, rather than chocolate and rainbows. As for Trader Joe's, the JoJos are vegan, as are some of the chocolate covered pretzels, and they've got a few flavors of vegan ice cream. If you want to go the ice cream route, then I'd recommend getting one of the Turtle Mountain brands -- So Delicious or Simply Decadent. The coconut milk flavors are awesome, and the soy flavors are really good. (I think a preschooler might be happier with the soy ones, actually.) Most regular grocery stores will at least have one or two flavors of those, either in the regular freezer section or in a "natural" section.
While I'm thinking ice cream, the Smucker's marshmallow syrup topping is vegan. Trader Joe's brand chocolate chips are vegan, and there are a ton of chocolate chip cookie recipes out there.
These blondies are also good (I've made them before), and also more kid-friendly. [link]
mmm JoJos
Bookmarking everything! Thanks. Clearly a trip to TJs after payday is warranted.
Ugh, frustrating, smonster!!!
