Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

You can make veggie rice krispy treats with marshmallow Fluff, but I don't know about its dairy properties.

Fluff is made with egg.

Hmm. Most of the ones I can find online are more "adult" type, with things like green tea or cappucino flavor, rather than chocolate and rainbows. As for Trader Joe's, the JoJos are vegan, as are some of the chocolate covered pretzels, and they've got a few flavors of vegan ice cream. If you want to go the ice cream route, then I'd recommend getting one of the Turtle Mountain brands -- So Delicious or Simply Decadent. The coconut milk flavors are awesome, and the soy flavors are really good. (I think a preschooler might be happier with the soy ones, actually.) Most regular grocery stores will at least have one or two flavors of those, either in the regular freezer section or in a "natural" section.

While I'm thinking ice cream, the Smucker's marshmallow syrup topping is vegan. Trader Joe's brand chocolate chips are vegan, and there are a ton of chocolate chip cookie recipes out there.

These blondies are also good (I've made them before), and also more kid-friendly. [link]

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Bookmarking everything! Thanks. Clearly a trip to TJs after payday is warranted.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Whole Foods carries them. Tasty and melted fine for smore purposes, but spendy -- like six bucks for a smallish box.

Dandies makes bags of vegan marshmallows, and Sweet & Sara makes marshmallow-based things like mallomars and snowballs.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Okay, I've gotten basic healthcare info and more answers, pretty much all of them negative. I think I'm going to be spending most of my evening reviewing this stuff. But if I'm going to start anywhere near when they want me to, I need to give notice today.

I seriously feel like I'm going to barf.
