Tara: That was funny if you've studied Taglarin mystic rites and... are a total dork... Riley: Then how come Xander didn't laugh?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ugh, Spidra and Seska. That is so frustrating. I'm so happy my mom and dad "get" my depression and insomnia.

Also (x-post with Natter):

Hey, all. It sounds like a scam, but it's not. missingmoney.com is a clearinghouse that searches the state departments of rev to see if you have unclaimed property. (Wow, I feel like I'm writing spam, but I'm not, I swear.)

I searched, and now I'm filing 3 claims with Kansas for a total of about $96 bucks, from old electric co. deposits and dental plans.

I also found a couple of claims for friends of mine.

You can also just go to the dept. of revenue site for every state you have lived in and search. (Use your maiden name, too, if applicable.)

I know a lot of people who could use whatever they might find. Thought it might be useful for a lot of peeps.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Spidra, I'm sorry. Stupidity and ignorance from strangers is one thing, but when it comes from you family... {{{}}} I have no advice, but you're heard and right, little comfort as it might be.

ION, ICon's superb. Heart geeks. Heart my geeks. A Geek Persona of the Israeli cons (who's a big SF writer here) gave "like" stickers, a-la FB, to some people. Including me.

I sticked it on my left boob's cleavage. Seemed like the thing to do.

Good luck with date#2, player!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Erin's right, I'm pretty sure. My dad & I are in the process of filing a claim right now. I'll let you know if Dad gets a check.

Thankfully my family didn't pull that kind of stuff with me. Didn't over coddle. Didn't ignore the issue. A pretty good balance, on the whole.

ION- date was fine. She was a few minutes late, but whatever. We stayed inside, with the A/C, since it was over 100F. We talked for almost 90 minutes. She is not in a happy place right now. Unemployed and living with folks. Can't say I'd be much happier. She's originally from Hong Kong. Just got back a few weeks ago from a gig in Shanghai. She was not happy. Was a bit disgusted with life on mainland China. Had some nice philosophical discussion on religion, and racism. On the whole ok. I didn't feel any big connection. But might be an interesting friend. If she stays in the area. She isn't happy in LA. I could see her moving up to the bay area in a year or so. Of course, a job would change all of that, I'm sure.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Evening, Bitches. I am still wiped from yesterday. Slept over ten hours, and took a couple of naps, and I think I'm going back to bed soon. My parents and sister came over and took me for yummy Italian, then we had birthday cake - yellow cake with lemon icing from scratch, nom. There was much Frankie worship as usual.

I have 3 loads of laundry to put away and dishes to wash, but it just may not get done tonight.

Dear I hope soon-to-be employer: please PLEASE respond to my counteroffer tomorrow so I can give at least a few days' notice.

Love, moi

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Spidra, may your parents get a clue real soon.

The pretty little black-and-white feral cat that likes to hang out on my patio is deliberately driving Leo batshit. Stray's on the porch, up on the bench, so he can put his paws on the front window. Leo's running back and forth on the windowsill hissing. I'd think that cat was flirting with him, the way he rolls around on the patio when Leo's watching, but I'm pretty sure I've seen little black-and-white balls on him. It's hard to tell for sure, though.

Little stray cat has been sitting outside staring in the window for an hour. I'm gonna name him Tiny Tim.

Don't do it! Once you give him a name, there is no getting rid of him!

(wow, I was channeling mom there. Spooky)

Too late! Little Timmy went away for a little while, and now he's back, staring in the window at me and Leo. Okay, little dude, now it's getting weird. Leo is not coming to play with you now; he's sleeping, so he's no longer interested in fiercely defending his territory. Sorry.
