{{{Spidra}}} figure-it-out~ma for your mom.
I'm watching "A Bit of Fry and Laurie." They're so young and fresh-faced I just want to smish them. One of the sketches I could swear they were peering into the future to mock Stephen Fry's podcast.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am 20 minutes early for date#2 with gal #2. It is 93°f here. 15° hotter than my place. Thankfully we are meeting at a Jamba Juice.
Much empathy, Spidra, from one whose mother thinks I'm making a fuss about nothing over stairs. Which she has in ridiculous numbers at her house.
I did the initial test for 100 pushups and got 8, which is more than I thought I could, but puts me into track 2 which means a harder program going through. Tomorrow I do my first set!
Ay, Seska. I have a friend with MD (most of whose siblings have MD as well) whose parents were in such denial about it that even when their kids were in their 30s they still hadn't done much to make their house accessible. One of his parents was a doctor, too!
EDIT: Good luck on the 100 pushups program, Sean.
I'm getting my iPod and then going down with ice packs on each forearm to try to clean the fucking fridge.
Ugh. Hope you don't end up in too much pain, Spidra.
When I was a kid, and complaining of the things kids complain of, my dad used to say, "How can you be in pain, I don't feel a thing?" It infuriated me then. Spidra and Seska's mothers are getting the stink-eye from me.
Ugh, Spidra and Seska. That is so frustrating. I'm so happy my mom and dad "get" my depression and insomnia.
Also (x-post with Natter):
Hey, all. It sounds like a scam, but it's not. missingmoney.com is a clearinghouse that searches the state departments of rev to see if you have unclaimed property. (Wow, I feel like I'm writing spam, but I'm not, I swear.)
I searched, and now I'm filing 3 claims with Kansas for a total of about $96 bucks, from old electric co. deposits and dental plans.
I also found a couple of claims for friends of mine.
You can also just go to the dept. of revenue site for every state you have lived in and search. (Use your maiden name, too, if applicable.)
I know a lot of people who could use whatever they might find. Thought it might be useful for a lot of peeps.
Spidra, I'm sorry. Stupidity and ignorance from strangers is one thing, but when it comes from you family... {{{}}} I have no advice, but you're heard and right, little comfort as it might be.
ION, ICon's superb. Heart geeks. Heart my geeks. A Geek Persona of the Israeli cons (who's a big SF writer here) gave "like" stickers, a-la FB, to some people. Including me.
I sticked it on my left boob's cleavage. Seemed like the thing to do.
Good luck with date#2, player!
Erin's right, I'm pretty sure. My dad & I are in the process of filing a claim right now. I'll let you know if Dad gets a check.
