High school was red and black, panthers. College, the blue and grey--What's a Hoya? :)

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
heh, I went to a Jr college that was supposed to have the "chapparal bird " as the mascot but they shortened it to just "chapparal" so we were the fighting scrub-grass prairies.
I think my favorite school team name is the team in Funky Winkerbean - the Scapegoats.
which was still better than my junior high's green and gold.
A's!
HS: Red and Black for the Spartans. (Remember them?)
College: Purple and White for the Lords. (Girls teams: The Ladies! Fear them! Actually they won a lot of national titles in swimming.)

I have to go with the traditional favorites: the Banana Slugs. My local favorite is Oglethorpe's Stormy Petrels.
I never thought the Commodores really cut it as a team name.
A long time ago, my high school team name was the Pigeons (after the Pigeon River that flows through town). It was renamed The Truckers, because Clintonville is where the four-wheel-drive truck was invented, and they still make firetrucks there.

Heh. My high school was the Commodores. Green and white. I hated that school.
College, black and gold, the Underachievers. No, wait, that isn't right...
I have no memory of my high school colors. College was navy and gold, grad school was blue and gold. All the UCs are "themed" although personally I think Santa Cruz kinda cheats with the blue and orange. Now my school colors are crimson and gold.

My sister's alma mater! Where everybody majors in Saving The World And Being Nice To People.
Hahahah about chapparal. That`s hilarious.
Our school colors were blue and gold in high school, and our mascot was Tornadoes. Which, you know, while I was cowered in the hallway while one passed, I was not overawed by the choice.
Our college colors were orange and black, although we had a pretty much nonexistent sports program (except for baseball players who had carte blanche at the school).
