Mal: Inara, think you could stoop to being on my arm? Inara: Will you wash it first?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Okay. I know shipping is a pain, so don't feel badly if you need to say no.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Deena!

So far toddler sitting is going well. Although, there was a big tantrum when his mommy left.

“Not dead yet!”

All Buffistas, but Juliana, smonster, and Jilli, in particular will get a kick out of this. It's been spirit week at Abby's school and today was school colors day. The colors are orange & black and this is the outfit she came up with.

It's on flickr and set to friends and family—lemme know if you can't see it and I'll add you.

Oh, crimeny. I forgot it was spirit day. Oops. Kara's wearing mauve and black. Her school colors are green and white. Aidan was supposed to wear red and blue. He's got some blue on, anyway.

I'm glad toddler babysitting is going well, sj!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Barb, I love your daughter's choice. And your daughter. And the house. I can't decide what to adore first in the picture, but I'll have to go with Abby's smile and posture. She is, indeed, a diva.

And I hope the fuck off and die reply will end the legal mess.

Much ~ma to your baby boy, bt.

Deena, glad to hear Aidan's doing better.

And WS, as always, thank you for your words. They mean a lot.

Edit: I gotta ask. What's spirit day?

Always Anti-fascist!

I watched "Hot Tub Time Machine" yesterday, and actually kind of loved it. Although just after a mid-thirties birthday is probably the perfect time to watch something like that. I would have brought this to movies, but while it was a fun time, it doesn't belong in there while they are talking about Orson Welles and stuff.ETA: in high school, Shir, we had it before games and stuff...you wear school colors and there is an assembly...I don't know what it means at their ages, but I always felt too smart for it anyway.

“Not dead yet!”

In the case of our school, Shir, it's a week where each day is given a theme for the kids to do things or dress up and it's supposed to promote unity and school spirit. Today was the day for the kids to dress in the designated school colors, which for Abby's school, are orange and black.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Someone just posted an ad for their "Aromatherapy for pets" workshop to a neighborhood mailing list. Given that most household pets are perfectly content to eat out of the garbage can and lick their own butts, I shudder to think of the scents they might find theraputic.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Now I want to organize an "Aromatherapy for robots" workshop. For Roombas and such.

Oh, thanks for the answers.
