I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Sox, we could use them.

Which reminds me that I have a box of stuff that Kalliope has probably by now outgrown (but it can go to Jess's incipient girlchild if she wants it) (but the next round of dresser organizing will probably yield a lot of Kalliope-sized clothes). And I need to send Kat a pair of shoes for Noah (Grace is now almost Matilda-sized). (Which probably means she could use the PJs too.)

(Apologies for the early morning parentheses abuse.)

eta: And much, much dentist~ma.

not your mom's socks.

JZ - shoot me your addy (profile email should be good) & I'll mail the box this weekend - yay! If you want to split them with Kat, that's cool by me.

Jessica - I think I have a box of 0-1s that somehow didn't make it into Kalliope's pile (sorry Sparky) - including a very cute fleece bear coat (I think)... interested?

thanks for the dentist~ma. I'ma go take some sparkly pre-drugs now. Do not let me get back on the internets for a while, ok?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Worse is that my sister has a blocked number these days and I really can't be skipping her calls right now so I have to pick up every unknown call I see come in. Yes, I twitch.

I hope a moose bites her.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Can you program her number into your phone?

Punishingly Intricate

Which reminds me that I have a box of stuff

OH! That reminds me that I have a pair of super cute girl's shoes size 8.5 that I bought by mistake from a website where they were not clear to differentiate between kid and grownup sizes! der. They've been sitting in my desk (well, actually several consecutive desks) for a couple years now. They are bronzey Kenneth Cole Reaction. Kind of like this:

If anyone is interested, send me an email.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I am full of energy this morning, and I have no idea why. I might take advantage of it and go furniture shopping. I still need a table and a loveseat.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Anyone who wants to send me baby girl clothes is more than welcome! But also not necessary as I have a neighbor with a 1 year old girl (holy crap Bea is turning 1!!!) who's been promising/threatening to dump all her hand-me-downs onto me. And it's not like Dylan's baby clothes are so aggressively gendered that TBA won't be able to wear them too.
