Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oh, P-C, I love you so much for being not racist, and educated, and true to your culture as BOTH an American and an Indian, and, generally, being a mensch and a stand-up dude and an awesome brother. (Tomorrow, don't forget earplugs)

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Geez, P-C! How did you turn out so well?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Jaysus, that's awful, P-C! I'm sorry you (and your brother) have to go through that.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Good going P-C and Brother Cow! You guys are doing a wonderful job of supporting each other.

Our wings are not tired.

P-C, you're a great storyteller but I am so sorry that you're going through this. But, what everyone else said - you're fighting the good fight. It's worth it.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Oh, P-C! What amych said, all the way!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That's scary, ND and Kristin. Sending ~ma westward.

I woke up at 5 and just gave up trying to sleep. Do not want.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

And then they wonder why you don't come by as much as they'd like? Goodness, P-C. I'm glad your brother has you.

Much figure it out and get it fixed~ma for ND.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

continuing the health~ma Drew-ward.

re: cleaning, i swiffer 2 (maybe 3) times a week to keep the furballs at bay, and pretty much clean everything (except the toilet) with pop-up sponges and water. wiping down kitchen and bathroom surfaces happens once or twice a day (wiping up splashed water=cleaning in the process) and only find the need to use commercial cleaners when cleaning the inside of the toilet bowl because i refuse to go near that with my hands. I also take my shoes off indoors because i don't like cleaning but i do like clean floors very much.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Kristin and ND, much love and even more ~ma coming your way. I hope they get this all figured out NOW for good.

P-C, I read your stories with a new interest these days. The school I'm working at right now has a population of 67% Indian. Many of the kids spend 4-6 weeks in India a summer (actually, one or two of our teachers did this summer too). And I know of at least one family where the grandparents came from India to choose a school for their grandchildren.

What I see from the children is so amazing, but I do see that push from the parents. I had to actually work with a couple of them this summer to learn how to play. When we put out buckets of water, a couple of kiddie pools, and a sprinkler, they didn't know what to do. And that makes me sad. But, I'm the fun police, so I taught them how to play.

I hope that what you're going through now filters through and makes life easier for these kiddos when they reach adulthood.
