sure, shoot it over.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Vortex, if I was going to have a first-born and you wanted it, I would owe it to you. My dad is giving me some more things to think about and include.
Oh, and smonster..
I just now watched that for the first time. Will have to do it again on a faster connection.
Vortex, just now insent. I'm going to walk Frankie and go to bed - if you can't get to it until the morning, that's okay. And THANK YOU. It takes a village to raise a smonster, apparently.
Perkins, so happy for you!
Erin, glad you got what you needed. Hopefully you are asleep right now and not able to read this message.
My insomnia is limited to difficulty falling asleep. Once sleeping, I'm out cold until 10,000 alarms wake me. It's just a matter of quieting the thoughts in my head. I think too much.
Yay, smonster! Hopefully not to late. If they can't offer salary (which is long term), relocation costs a fair amount, depending on how much stuff you have. I would push and say "I'd love to. The job excites me. But between the pay cut and the cost to relocate, I'm not sure I can afford the move." And then, depending on your furniture, it might be cheaper to sell what ya got, and buy replacement stuff when you land at new place.
ION- the elevator in my building is STILL broken. SEVEN days! A week. It's bullshit. I gotta see if I can find if there is some law about that, and deduct from rent or something.
Yeah, Tom took a pretty significant pay cut but was at least able to get an extra week of vacation and moving expenses included.
I'm also taking a pretty hefty paycut but we'll see the numbers once the health care cost differential kicks in (I won't be paying anything for insurance.)
backflung, smonster
Yay, smonster! Congrats to you on new possibilities - wherever they may lead.
Erin, I hope and pray that you're sleeping right now and not even close to waking up.
Speaking of doctors and the like, are all antibiotics for UTIs nowadays the sort that cause joint and tendon pain the entire time you're on them? I told the doc No Levaquin because it kicked my ass the one time I was on it years ago. She assured me that what she was prescribing would be ok and it so isn't. It's like Levaquin just changed its name to Macrobid. And today was only day three of this crap (four more to go).

Ack. I can't imagine there isn't some sort of code violation in this situation. What *if* you or anyone else in the building was in a wheelchair?
I'm on crutches, my neighbor is in a scooter. Not sure how ambulatory she is, or how often she ventures out. I'm looking to see if there is any law on it, but not finding much. It's only a 4 story building. Just happens I'm on floor 3.
