Not that I haven't been there. I used to work at a place where if you were sick you had to find someone to cover for you and if nobody could cover- you worked sick. Still doesn't seem right.

I worked at a fast-food pizza place that had this policy. Luckily there were lots of employees at that store so you could usually find someone to cover for you.

Then I have to cancel class and find a way to make up the material. With an exam coming up, there's not much room for me to miss a day. With more notice, I might have been able to find people to cover my classes, but I can't really do that right now.
