Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jilli, I have an white dragon brocade waist cincher corset from corset connections that I could seel you cheapish. It says 30 inches on the inside, if that would work for you.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Typo Boy, I beg you for permission to include that dream dialog verbatim in my current not-NaNoWriMo novel. No really, I mean it. I'll credit your subconscious and everything.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Thanks ever so, Jilli!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Zenkitty - by all means go ahead.

Ooooh. As in, it laces down to 30"? Hmmm, that might indeed work for me! I will email you about price and whatnot. Thank you!

It looks like Xanax and a Feliway collar are the magic combination for Trin, knock on wood.

I believe so, Jilli. I was going to use it for my wedding ensemble and then decided against it, and I will likely not be wearing white again, possibly ever. Profile addy is good.

Thank you, Typo! One day, it may actually be published. Somewhere. Or finished, even.

Cross-post from Natter:

Paging Perkins and Ginger.

Did either of you get red blood cell Procrit injections as part of your chemo? And would you be willing to talk to me about it a little bit? A friend of my sister's is having them, and they are causing her so much pain in her bones, that she's considering stopping treatment... I've asked for clarification on whether she means stopping chemo, or just stopping the injections, if that's an option.

ETA: She means stopping chemo altogether.

Thrive to spite them

Good News - the rice did the trick and my cellphone seems to be working.

Bad News - temp agency called and let me know about an assignment, only I didn't get the message until just now and I was supposed to call back by 5pm. I called and left a message and hopefully it's still open.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ugh. The funeral home around the corner is cremating someone, and the smoke is covering the whole block. I don't know what an appropriate thing to be thinking right now is, but all I've got is that it smells horrible.
