Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Gronk. I hope you got more sleep, Barb. I didn't get much myself.
G is very cranky today. We both are actually.
Aimee, I hope your co-leader accepted your apology.
As of 8:00 this morning, no response either on FB or via text. I'm quickly coming to the point of, "Fuck it, then." I get being pissed that I double booked and you got shafted, but it's nigh on 3 weeks and I've apologized and kept communication open.
Not to speak for her (and she'll tell me if I'm wrong) but I think even Vortex, who will smite you like whoa for breaking plans last minute, would have TOTALLY forgiven me by now.
I think she just really doesn't want to do Girl Scouts, which will piss me off since I switched meeting nights specifically FOR HER.
And Barb, hopefully you are sleeping the sleep of the righteous, but when you awaken, know that my mighty and vast AIMEE SMASH is here for you in what ever form you might need it. I'll totally crush that beyotch.
It actually seems to be claimed by a sulfuric acid compound.
Also, it's not the name of my website, since that's actually both names-- it's just the banner heading.
And until it's resolved, I'm trying not to use the name around here, just in case she's being a Snoopy Mc Snooperson.
Feh.
This whole thing is stupid and has already messed with my plans for the day, since I know I'm not going to be worth squat later on.
I did a quick Google just on the first name, and she's like #5 and you're like #12. They'd better get on the cigar makers, then. Who are #1.
And there's another writer with the same first name who has taken umbrage.
oh, I remember that crazy bitch.
Me, too. WTF??? IANAL, but no matter how insano someone is, I wouldn't think they can't make you stop using your own legal name.
Eeeevil.

That's the thing I don't get. She's quote/unquote more recognizable with that name at this point, but it's not like either of us are household names. Nor do I expect that to change.
Also?
Completely. Different. Audiences.
I'd be curious to know if it is/was her own legal name, or if she picked it thinking it would make her all exotic and unique. My hunch is the latter.
