Now, this would be the perfect time for a swear word.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Vicodin is awesome. I'm not sure that it's the best painkiller for me, but, damn, it puts me in a fabulous mood. Not over the top, but good. Bodies are weird.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I could use a snarky giant spider to amuse me right now. Also, why is there no ice cream fairy?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I throw Vicodin up if I take more than one (learned THAT the first day or two after surgery, when pain was bad: Rx said 1-2 for pain), but yes, it can be lovely.

I took it 3 days/per month for about 2 years before I finally had the hyst, and it was quite nice, as well as dulling the Cramps of Satan to non-fetal position, no sobbing levels.

GITS: Now that you have saved my life, do I gather from films that it is human custom that I must have sex with you?

Sweet zombie Jesus, no thank you.

So, we gave Xanax to Trinian last night. To say she is not thrilled about the kittens is putting it mildly.

Did it help her? Poor noodle.

We thought it did, but she just completely flipped out again and lost it at Ruthven. (Who cannot understand why Trinian is mad at *him*.) So another 1/8 of a Xanax, and she's back in the kitty chill room for a little bit.

When I was in the kitty chill room with her, I told her that I must love her, since I'm sharing my Xanax with her.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Poor kitty. I hope she finds her equilibrium soon.

I told her that I must love her, since I'm sharing my Xanax with her.

Heh. There's a guy I know in the neighborhood who does the opposite: he has a Xanax script for his dog, who gets way too worked up about balls and such, and you'll see him hand Cookie one and then pop one in his own mouth.

Yes, indeed. Heh. I hope she settles in soon.

I just lost a whole long post. I have been doing that so much lately. Annoying.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Daniel, I'm glad you're home resting. Feel better.

Poor, Trinian. I hope she gets used to the kitties soon.

We went to a church flea market my aunt was running today. I ended up with a CD rack for $1. Then I took a nap because I was exhausted for some reason, and tonight dinner with the in-laws.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Displaced aggression, Jilli. She's not mad at Ruthven, she's lashing out at the most convenient target, given it's not likely she'd go for you or Pete, and her tiny brain might actually be afraid of the kittens who are making her angry/threatened/afraid.

TC used to go for the nearest human when seeing a cat outside would get him amped up. And then he'd come to the bleeding victim seeking reassurance and comfort.

Walnut brains, IJS.

Daniel, glad you're feeling better. Ginger, I've got no good advice, just extra-strength wishes for speedy departure of your too-affectionate cold.
