Who are our really good knitting Buffistas? I have a semi-difficult project that I would like to have done. I've got the yarn and the pattern.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Knitting?
I went to say one last good-bye to my former co-workers at Borders. I'm much sadder than I thought I would be.
Debet, how do you feel about lace patterns? This is the pattern I have. It was from Mom's project stash: [link]
Sigh. Confusing girls are confusing.
After basically sayin last night that I could come visit but she wouldn't sleep with me, today she randomly emails to ask about whether she should let a coworker dress her in "drag" (womens clothes) for Halloween. Er, what?
Pretty!
I'm pretty comfortable with both lace and socks. If there's someone local, so that you can try them on as you go, that might be better, but, apart from that, I'd totally be game.
Thank you, Debet. I will check with my local knitting peeps, but I don't know if any of them are quite up to it. Mom was kind of our local sock queen.
Jilli, those are gorgeous! What color are you going to do them?
Well, I have black yarn for them, and variegated black/pink/white yarn. Ideally I'd like stockings in both colorways.
I went into Fred Meyer (the chain Mom worked for) yesterday and looked at the Halloween stuff that was out, and got a little sniffly because I was identifying things she would have set aside as presents for me, or things she would have told me about.
