Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

First come Stern Talkings To, the first of which will be tomorrow to the three who were late. It has to be a Big Freaking Problem to fire one of them. Right now I'm just watching and listening, tomorrow is the first day where they will really be doing anything so we'll see how she does.

Thrilling update... nothing from roommie. SRSLY? She has to have read it by now, she's on her computer all the time.

Pics of my nails are up on FB, in case you were curious.

This does not surprise me. I don't think you'll get any response unless you talk to her directly. Not to say you have to, but if you want a response or dialogue, then...

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

She also refused to go up a metal ladder yesterday during tool training saying it was too wobbly and she was used to fiberglass.

This sounds like what someone says when they don't like ladders at all. If it had been fiberglass, she probably would have said she was used to metal.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Stand in the kitchen noisily eating noodles.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Bleargh. Spent half of last night engaging in coughing fits. Ryan has it too, though he's still in good spirits. As ways to end a birthday go, this is not cool.

The birthday itself was nice, though. Wallybee and I had lunch together (I got a Moroccan lamb deal with chickpea ragu and mint yoghurt), then to Mind Games to buy a pressie. My choice: [link] Then, I got to come home early. (Always good.) Final touch: WB baked a chocolate cake over the weekend. I have decreed it to be a birthday cake, and awesome.

My birthday also marked five years and three days since I asked WB to marry me. So that's nice. (She said yes.)

Aw, awesome! Sorry your birthday consisted of coughing, but sounds like your family's awesomeness more than makes up for it.
