When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I know I am literally a year late, but I am really digging Danger Days. I can't evaluate the whole album because I haven't gotten all the way through it because I keep going back and playing "Bulletproof Heart" over and over and over and OVER.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Welcome to the party, Steph!! It's a pretty freakin' fabulous album. There's not a single song I skip (well, sometimes the anthem) and that's pretty rare. Whenever I need to get psyched up, I play it in the car.

I mean, I've made it through the song after the traffic report (can't remember the name), but I kept going back to Bulletproof Heart. However, I do really dig pretty much all of it so far.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just tried to eat some grapes, and I couldn't because they made my throat sting too much. This is pathetic. I thought grapes were supposed to be good when you're sick. I've settled on some chocolate almond milk.

Oof, Hil, that sounds awful.

e had an all staff meeting today where they played a Trivial Pursuit game - not only did she refuse to participate, but she sat behind me (her BOSS) bitching the whole time. Oh lawd, here we go.

...OK, one thing to bitch when the work is dirty and dangerous, but when you're playing Trivial Pursuit? REALLY?

Of course, I did send kind of a bitchy email to my boss earlier today. Just because she wanted me to do my job on the required timeline. Sigh.

{{{Hil}}} Feel better!

I highly approve of birthday weeks for smonster and Nora.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

It was Trivial Pursuit-style with questions about the organization, based on our publication. She hadn't read them, but neither had many of the others, and then she was complaining about answering "stupid questions she didn't know the answer to" or something. Did you miss how many staff raised their hands to show that they're former Americorps? Say it with me now... net, working. Networking. She also refused to go up a metal ladder yesterday during tool training saying it was too wobbly and she was used to fiberglass. Great, because I needed a crew member afraid of heights. And she (and two others) were a 1/2 hr late this morning. I really hope she's just having a bad week, because she is not impressing me one bit right now.

Can you fire her?
