In completely shallow and bitchlike news--I heard a great Daniel Craig story. Our friend Andy spent the last two weeks doing props for
Dragon Tattoo
reshoots. His wife, my pal H, went to visit the set last Friday. Craig walked by and Andy asked her if she wanted to be introduced. H was, as she told me, "frozen with lust" and vehemently turned down the offer. Later in the day, A thanked Craig for making his wife's day. Craig asked what he did and Andy said "You walked right by my wife and you looked like Daniel Craig." Craig laughed and wanted to meet H but she was gone.
Later he came back to Andy, because he'd dug a picture out and said he wanted to sign it for H, since he didn't get to meet her. Which he did.
Andy was very impressed with Craig, who he said was incredibly warm and professional and non-diva-ish. He knows as a lead actor he sets the tone of the set, and he made sure to meet this whole temporary crew and learn everyone's names and be helpful and relaxed to everyone. This is NOT always the case with big stars. Nice to know he is a good guy.
That is an awesome story. I love "You walked right by my wife and you looked like Daniel Craig." Heh. Yeah, that's pretty much all he needs to do. Nice to know he's a good man, too. It will certainly add to my viewing experience.
Scrappy - what a cool story.
Oh my gosh, suddenly Daniel Craig is EVEN HOTTER! I didn't think that was possible.
Epic, your vet is an asshole. Sorry about your kitty.
I bought a swimsuit. For the first time in 20 years. And I don't even hate the way it looks! Maybe tomorrow I will finally go to the nice friendly gym I joined. Surely I should be able to drag my reluctant corpus to the gym twice a week, right?
I've got a cold, and my sinuses and ear are all stuffed up. It hurts, and it's making me dizzy, and everything I hear sounds all weird. I do not like this.
Epic, sending out the kitty~ma for Domino. And some extra ~ma for Domino's human.
Sparky I MISSED IT. Wah.
I don't have the Craig oost, but that's a lovely story. We like the nice human.s
Uggh. It may still be summer outside, but it's approaching glacial in my house. Now she won't even be in the kitchen the same time as me. I think she's waiting until I'm out of there to even cook dinner. I'm going to send an email tomorrow to see what's up, if I did anything in particular to piss her off, and see if she wants to look at moving out. Yes, it would be more assertive to just talk to her, but I don't have the spoons for an argument.
I've been living with roommates for seventeen years, never had an issue like this. WTF.
In better news, Frankie seems to be a lot better. Yay meds.
Is it too early to shower and go to bed?
