Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Kitty~ma for Domino and Epic! I'm so sorry.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Thanks, All. I have some hope, not a lot, but some.

For those of you who also get pissed at fat prejudice - apparently the prejudice extends to cats, too. Domino's always been about 19 lbs, a little overweight but really long too - part Maine Coon. He had a vet appt a month or so ago and was down to 14 lbs. Without eating less or increasing his exercise at all. (And throwing up more often). Instead of being concerned at the loss of more than a quarter of his weight in a year, the vet was just glad he'd lost some weight. I'm livid about this.

And a completely separate, not about me post to say:

Happiest of B-days, P-C!

And much, much jobma for Vortex!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ugh, that's awful!

I would be finding another vet, ASAP. Screw that.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

In completely shallow and bitchlike news--I heard a great Daniel Craig story. Our friend Andy spent the last two weeks doing props for Dragon Tattoo reshoots. His wife, my pal H, went to visit the set last Friday. Craig walked by and Andy asked her if she wanted to be introduced. H was, as she told me, "frozen with lust" and vehemently turned down the offer. Later in the day, A thanked Craig for making his wife's day. Craig asked what he did and Andy said "You walked right by my wife and you looked like Daniel Craig." Craig laughed and wanted to meet H but she was gone.

Later he came back to Andy, because he'd dug a picture out and said he wanted to sign it for H, since he didn't get to meet her. Which he did.

Andy was very impressed with Craig, who he said was incredibly warm and professional and non-diva-ish. He knows as a lead actor he sets the tone of the set, and he made sure to meet this whole temporary crew and learn everyone's names and be helpful and relaxed to everyone. This is NOT always the case with big stars. Nice to know he is a good guy.

That is an awesome story. I love "You walked right by my wife and you looked like Daniel Craig." Heh. Yeah, that's pretty much all he needs to do. Nice to know he's a good man, too. It will certainly add to my viewing experience.
