Poor Frankie, there does seem to be a wave of pet UTIs going around. I wonder if it's the high heat of summer?
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
hugs everyone and their pets tight
We are in Clean ALL The Things mode in the basement right now, because the kittens are going to be freed from seclusion on ZOMGMONDAY. Oh lord, the dust. (And the various spiders, dead and alive, but those are Pete's problem to deal with.)
I would like to fall over now, but there are still things to do.
Aw, poor Frankie.
smonster, did you see that MCR is coming to NOLA????? They announced on FB that they're playing the Voodoo Experience on October 28.
Oh, she knows.
Heh. I figured.
I'M ON IT. There's some interesting collaborations happening there, too, like Gordon Gano (yes, THAT Gordon Gano) with the Lost Bayou Playboys.
Dilemma... exile Frankie to his dog bed and face The Look of Ultimate Betrayal, or keep him with me and risk another wet bed. I think I'm going to have to deal with the look.
Deal with the look. It won't hurt either one of you and he might actually get a higher quality rest.
I'm glad you were on top of the UTI diagnosis and now have a plan.
Poor Boo. That goes for both of you.
Thanks again for your help, bonny. My sister recommended plain yogurt mixed into canned food to try and prevent unpleasantness, does that work for dogs, too?
Test it, but be careful.
Many dogs are lactose intolerant, so dairy is a inadvisable. They tend to LOVE it, but it can exacerbate looseness, add gas and mucus.
Probiotics are really good, but a probiotic tablet is likely to offer better effects than yogurt.
Maria, my folks are all praying up a storm. And it's none of my business, but it's totally ok for you to be struggling with your faith right now.
