Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm sick of coming home from work to lie down and try to make things stop hurting while other people finish work and then go out and have fun.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mine was in the car after I had to take it out of my wallet to give it to the nice Marine when I accidentally drove onto one of the back entrances to the Marine Base in Point Loma.

Half of their Base looks like it could lead to a strip mall! Or dull condos. Um, not that I've done that.

E-zactly! We were going to Corvette at Liberty Station (you'd heard that Corvette's not on 5th anymore, right?), and we came in from the backside of Pt Loma that I'm just not as familiar with. The entrance to the Base looks just like the entrance to the "mall" (perhaps because the mall used to be part of the base?) You'd think the guys would be used to it and be all, "Yeah, Corvette's next one down on the left." But no, insisted on running my licence. Stupid guards, being all...on guard and stuff.

Corvette isn't in 5th?! Heresy. I took the Niecelet there for birthdays when she was younger than her current nearly 22. So maybe I shouldn't be shocked that things have changed.

One of my last trips down, I had a couple of free hours and a car so I wandered down the coast and ended up heading back towards a freeway to meet my folks for dinner through that area. I was looking for a place to grab water too. Nearly ended up on the Base. Very weird.

So it looks like on Saturday I may be meeting Will's boys for the first time. I'm nervous. But they are geeks so there is common ground. Hopefully it will happen I've wanted to meet them and hopefully they will like me.

That sounds great. I hope it all goes well.

I KNOW!

I heard they didn't feel like paying the crazy 5th Ave rent anymore, but no idea if that's accurate or not. New place is pretty cool, though I didn't love sitting in the new blacklight "60's" room. Actually, the sitting was fine, it was the trying to read the menu that kinda sucked.

Must say though, the parking? 1,000% better.

Nearly ended up on the Base. Very weird.

Yeah, I'm used to Miramar - miles of completely empty land with nothing but scrub surrounded by high fences, then GATE, then miles more scrub. I've never accidentally driven onto Miramar.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Dear self, maybe if you wouldn't let the dishes go for a week, you wouldn't have so many that you knock a glass off the counter while it's drying and break it. Well, at least part of the kitchen floor got vacuumed.

Fond frustration,
