Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

Erin, you'd be an awesome tooth/drunk commerce fairy.

I need a way for this to be tax deductible: [link]

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

...And as always when the word comes up, Ellen Greene is in my head, with calla lillies, hand out. "Glue. Glittah."

Thrive to spite them

Today has been a day already.

So there are warnings for the Vermont area (not sure if that includes Franklin county but who knows) about the possiblity of Hurricane Irene causing power outages due to high winds. It's already been incredibly windy today and yesterday. So I went to Price Chopper to stock up on things I needed plus hurricane type stuff. I figure if there's no power outage then I've got a jump on being prepared in case of snowstorms.

I did something wth my Price Chopper card, can't find it. They have a thing where you can get discounts on gas so I need to find it, taken my receipt and get the points. Except I needed gas today so I bought gas.

My washer stopped working - stopped working because the plug came loose and I couldn't get it back in so I went and got an extension cord and took care of that. Only somehow in moving the washer I moved the dryer around and the hose came loose. It's one of those hard fixed hoses and I'm not even sure how it went together since it looks like the dryer is slightly higher than the hose. And it's attached by metallic tape or something.

My apartment is a mess so I need to get it cleaned up before I call my landlady about this. I have wet sheets and towels in the dryer and the washer.

Good news - Sepherion staffing called and they may have a position for me. In South Burlington which is on the outer edge of where I want to drive but pays decent.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Please only do that if you have a super heavy extension cord.
