I think they both have dextromethorphan, which can cause big time jitters if you take too much. Basically, you don't want to take more than 30 mg every 6-8 hours. So take a look at how much dextromethorphan each one has.
Thanks! I'll be sure to double check that and I have marked your post so I won't forget the amount later.
I'm sad that a large amount of the peaches we picked the other day went bad so quickly we didn't get a chance to do anything with them. We did get to eat some as well as make a peach crumble and some peach chutney, but still...
~ma to them as needs it. I didn't meara.
So tired. So tired. Tired. It's only 8 pm and I'm heading to bed soon. Both Roomie (henceforth N) and I are having a lot of trouble forming coherent sentences.
Kitty is a girl and named Magnolia. She went to the vet today and she's very much bonded to N (yay!) and was rubbing up against Frankie of her own volition, which killed us from the cute. Double cute homicide!!
I started my period between going back to sleep and waking up for good, and it's amazing how much saner I felt. Still feeling a little insecure about StW, but I think I just need to have a chat with him and work out some communication strategies that will work for both of us.
Work was nuts today. This guy whose been doing decon for decades came to the house we're doing first and talked to me for over TWO HOURS. I totally used the dumptruck metaphor that Liese told Hil to describe it. I'm going to be processing what he told me for days. But I feel much better about the whole thing. I just hope we get to spend as much time on it as we want.
Tom and I went to one of our fave cocktail bars, Twelve Mile Limit, which is off the beaten path in Mid-City, has amazing hand crafted affordable cocktails ($6-8 rather than $10-13), BBQ, doberge cake, kickass jukebox, and Game Show Happy Hour, during which all house cocktails and draft beers are $1 between 5-7pm when we all watch Cash Cab, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune.
It was a much needed nice night out. I got a couple of free drinks due to my pimping the bar in my beer blog's Beer Geek Tour of MidCity: [link]
I need to take as much joy in this city as I can, it's the only thing keeping me sane. It's not hard to do, 'cause of the awesome, but it does involve getting off the couch, which can be a challenge.
Nora, I'm glad you get so much joy out of your new city. You deserve it.
It seems I'm in Vegas. The hotel that the conference is at is not near anything. And airport walking wore me out. Blargh.
The hotel that the conference is at is not near anything.
That's why they've got cabs in Vegas.
Yeah. Trying to be cheap. Now waiting on arrival of fellow SoCal person. I think I'll explore where the conference stuff is, as I won't be thinking well at 7:30am.
Does your hotel participate in any of the free shuttle setups that go to the Strip? I would think there would be something.
Which hotel do they have you at?
Cabs are wicked expensive there. As a result, I spent a lot of time walking and STILL spent a bazillion on cabs.
Plus right now it's probably so hot in Vegas you don't want to walk anywhere!
Nora, what is doberge cake?
