Yeah, but Ewan I find hot no matter what he's wearing. Tennant basically requires at minimum heavy eyeliner before he rings my bells. (Tennant in full drag? JESUSFUCK.)

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
That's just . . . Weird
Was it saying that it was weird that caused the problems or that you weren't seeing the appeal? I'm as straight as a crochet hook (not knitting needle, 'cause there's still that little kink at the end, my collection of male gay porn, let me show you it) and I found the male lingerie pics out on the "No, I don't think so" end of the appeal spectrum. But there are lots of things that are well-accepted that do the opposite for me of turning my crank, and I've wondered if that's just part of the great pageant of humanity or if it's my utter blinkeredness regarding variants of sexuality.
(pause for obligatory note that I'm not judging anyone/thing, I'm not expressing some deep-seated ickiness re: sexual variants, I'm just someone who's grown up/primarily lived around Puritans and sees this as a place to explore the amazing things I keep finding in this world)
So... swallowing a possibly-expired progesterone tablet in the hopes that it might help: bad idea or not-unreasonable?
Bad idea. Take whatever painkiller/caffeine/sudafed/whatever you feel comfortable with, retire to bed with an ice or heat pack, and call the doctor in the morning to discuss options (even if those are just "a once-a-month supply of good painkiller")
Bad Idea.
Bad idea. And I hate to be the negative one, but I'm on BC, and it doesn't help the headache issue.
A bit behind, but the "quiver" on OkCupid is just their cutesy way of saying "matches". As in, Cupid's Quiver. 3 at a time.
My opinions of the online dating sites i've used, in order of $$$:
Eharmony: geared towards finding your next spouse. Ideally a Good Christian one with whom you plan to have lots of babies. It's very heavily slanted towards conservative religious folks.
Match.com: also geared towards long term relationships/marriage. More open to a wider variety of religious and political idealogies. Seemed like more than 80% of the profiles were inactive...people do the free weekends or a month or so then give up/walk away/stop paying but their profiles don't mention activity.
OkCupid: free, so lots of variety for every possible type of relationship you might be looking for. Also lots more skeevy skeeves (but very easy to avoid once you answer lots of questions.) I've been seeing LOTS of profiles for 30/40 something guys looking for long term.
TheOnion.com dating (yes, they have a dating site): free, and mostly unemployed writers.
Thanks, Erin!
Barb, my college roommate is a rocket scientist (really!) at Atlanta and can go anywhere in the airport - if you'd like me to see if she's free to meet your kids, ping me at my profile addy.
Also, the students come back today. Hide me!
the non-at-all-feminine men in stereotypically feminine clothing is very freeing for me. I *love* that sight
Tim, though built on a lean frame, doesn't strike me as feminine in any way. (Those are good arms to have.) And when he crossdresses, I wouldn't call him "feminine," necessarily, which is an odd thing to say. (He's already left for work, so I can't link any pictures without asking him.)
That's just . . . Weird
Was it saying that it was weird that caused the problems or that you weren't seeing the appeal?
It was partly because it came out like I was calling crossdressing, in general, weird. I explained my full train of thought, of course, but that didn't help a whole lot.
It's cool, we're fine now, but I have to remember that whenever I think I am Awesome Ally Girlfriend, I can still completely fail hard.
