Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Here's pictures from yesterday, including pictures of me and StW!!

Woot is Cute!

As is La Smonstah! (But we knew that.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The Woot is Teh Cute! Does he know we call him St. Woot? You (both) look so darned happy!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Awww, St. Woot is a cutiehead.

Jilli, what's the trajectory supposed to be like for your recovery? Is it just entirely up in the air?

Approximately a year. It depends on how quickly we can knock down the Lyme and the co-infections. (Of which I have four. Because I am an overachiever.)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cute couple. You two look happy together, smonster!

Whoa, I think I feel ... rested. Is this what well-rested feels like? I am digging it.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Good golly, Jilli. That is going to be a long road. Wish you didn't have to take the slow path.

Goodness, he is CUTE!!!

Inorite? Cute, funny, intelligent, even-tempered, passionate about his work (both doctoring and teaching other doctors), affectionate, loves costumes, enjoys drinking and good food but not too much, likes to travel off the beaten path, loves live music, and is totally into me. Things we will need to negotiate, so far - doesn't cook, ever; not super great with money; not big on talking about emotions; not much of a planner (like, I'm more of a planner than he is, and I am NOT a planner).

Does he know we call him St. Woot?

Not yet. I will probably tell him the story at some point. I think he will be amused.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just looked through my freezer to see if I had any frozen blueberries, and I ended up with pretty much all the frozen food falling on my head. How do you organize a freezer so that this won't happen? Frozen plastic bags simply will not stay in neat piles.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Hil, instead of piling them, could you sort of prop them on their sides so they're arranged like this?

The other possibility would be to get a plastic container that fits in your freezer where you could corral bags o' things.

I tried that, but they all fell over. I think I need to get some dividers or something. Maybe the Container Store has something -- they tend to be the answer to things like this.

Really, I just want my freezer to have shelves. It's just a big empty space, which is totally not right for storing a lot of little things.

Also, being able to split things down into categories and subcategories and organize them and make them all neat makes me happy.
