Good golly, Jilli. That is going to be a long road. Wish you didn't have to take the slow path.
Goodness, he is CUTE!!!
Inorite? Cute, funny, intelligent, even-tempered, passionate about his work (both doctoring and teaching other doctors), affectionate, loves costumes, enjoys drinking and good food but not too much, likes to travel off the beaten path, loves live music, and is totally into me. Things we will need to negotiate, so far - doesn't cook, ever; not super great with money; not big on talking about emotions; not much of a planner (like, I'm more of a planner than he is, and I am NOT a planner).
Does he know we call him St. Woot?
Not yet. I will probably tell him the story at some point. I think he will be amused.
I just looked through my freezer to see if I had any frozen blueberries, and I ended up with pretty much all the frozen food falling on my head. How do you organize a freezer so that this won't happen? Frozen plastic bags simply will not stay in neat piles.
Hil, instead of piling them, could you sort of prop them on their sides so they're arranged like this?

The other possibility would be to get a plastic container that fits in your freezer where you could corral bags o' things.
I tried that, but they all fell over. I think I need to get some dividers or something. Maybe the Container Store has something -- they tend to be the answer to things like this.
Really, I just want my freezer to have shelves. It's just a big empty space, which is totally not right for storing a lot of little things.
Also, being able to split things down into categories and subcategories and organize them and make them all neat makes me happy.
Goodness, he is CUTE!!!
Oops, I should have reported this earlier. Yeah, he's pretty yummy in looks and personality.
In crappy news, we got a call from the vet today and it looks like Taz is still having trouble peeing because one of his bladder muscles is stretched/loose. The vet says this is somewhat common and that he is still doing great and has an excellent prognosis, but he's going to have to stay till Tuesday now.
In less crappy news, I had a great trip to Lane Bryant- went there to get underpants, but saw they had a 40% sale off jeans. My jeans had to be tossed at the end of last winter, due to holes in the crotch, so I grab a pair of those. Then I see a table of awesome cropped pants and shorts in the neutral/earthtones that I love that fit perfectly and was the perfect fabric and style. AND on stupid crazy sale. I got the pants for $12 each and the shorts for $8 each. Also got some cotton nightshirts, so now I can throw away the ones that, well, are frayed and holey.
We also got new bedside table lamps AND British chocolate: Tunnoch's and a giant bar of Dairy Milk.
Now it's kind of dark and pre-stormy, and we are chilling.
StW is verra cute. A lovely complement to the hotness that is smonster.
I'm currently packing up Nate & Abby so they can go spend a week with their grandparents at their place in North Carolina. This isn't their first time flying alone, but it is the first time they're going to be changing planes, plus it's a red eye flight. I'm veering between elation that Lewis and I are going to have a week to ourselves and freaking out because OMG, my babies! Never mind that I was traveling cross-country by myself when I was ten, it's still OMG, my babies! But I'm playing it cool on the surface.
I am such a wuss.
And yay, Nora on the bargain shopping! My favorite two words-- Sales and Clearance.
Are they changing planes in Atlanta, Barb?
