Anxiety is a real problem though. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was leading to more physically obvious problems like insomnia and back pain. Mine can, without a doubt.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We went to a concert last night, then got up at 6 to be ready for the people filming at our house to arrive at 7. EXCEPT THEY MOVED THE SHOOT TO 11AM AND NO ONE TOLD US. I would have gotten up at 7 anyway for skate class, but poor DH and our houseguest dragged themselves out of bed for nothing.

As soon as they get here we are going to Malibu, to the Getty Villa. Beautiful stuff is always soothing when one is exhausted.

Is there a small breed dog that is good with kids ages two and five. Easyish and the less shedding the better. Something under thirty pounds, I think. P thanks you in advance. I always suggest a Lab but she nixes it for size.

My cousins had a series of Boston Terriers, which were quite friendly, if you can cope with the short-nose snort.

Labradoodles, for a hybrid breed, are actually pretty good. All of the friendliness/family ease of a Lab but with the coat of a poodle which is hypoallergenic and not too bad with the shedding. They also tend to be smaller in size. (The ones my friends have is about 35 lbs.)

Good suggest, Barb. I will admit, I think a Lab is the right dog for them but since apparently I don't get to entirely choose another family's dog. Silly.
