Erin,
Apparently this feature has been around awhile.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Um, Erin, see my response.
Fr ex, I have not synced contacts, so when I go there only a few of my fb friends have a little phone icon so I can call them.
Every few months, it goes around.
Yeah, I followed the links and fixed it.
I panicked -- sorry. But I was completely surprised by this piece of info.
I considered deleting from Beep Me, but there may be someone else out there who didn't know, and could benefit from the 'fo.
I'll delete it if peeps think I should.
How much would you expect to pay for an artisan book?
Her work is BEAUTIFUL.
Now, to answer the question: I would pay at least $75, and probably more, for a gorgeous artisan book. If I was gainfully employed, that is. And if I had the money right now, I'd ask you to ask her if she would be willing to take on a commission. Her re-binding of her ARC of Stardust is lovely, and I would love to eventually get an artisan version of the GCS book. Because I'm silly and vain like that.
The work is beautiful. She might check and see if there would be any copyright issues.
Hi again. Skipping isn't so much fun, but the whole hours in the day thing keeps getting in the way.
Made a whirlwind trip back to Florida. Did business stuff, spent a whole lotta time with DH, had dinner with son. All went really well. Back in really chilly mountains.
She might check and see if there would be any copyright issues.
With selling Gutenberg works? I don't think so.
As for fits of anger, as long as no one's getting hurt, and nothing's getting destroyed that the angry person isn't willing to replace, I'm mostly okay with it. I've had enough screaming and throwing fits of anger (and felt *so* much better after them) that I don't look askance as long as everyone is safe.
I've seen SO MANY episodes of violent rage working in DV and homeless teen shelters and with high school students that pretty much nothing phases me.
And my friends are a pretty drama-free bunch, as are my family members.
But then again, I don't have any triggers about violence -- YMMV. My reaction is usually "keep everyone else safe," try to de-escalate the sitch, in professional situations.
If someone acted like that in my HOME (I'm thinking of "I have a party and a guest of a friend freaked) it's be de-escalation, then it things got worse, gethefuckout, even if I have to physically do it myself and call the cops.
I have my crankypants on this morning.
Laga, have fun!! And yay for D being a sweetie.
Jilli, I have had lasers shot into my eye several times!! I did not enjoy the experience, but it beats the heck outta going blind!! May this be the end of it.
Man, had dinner at a friend's house, drank the wine, got into some passionate but courteous debates with her and her bf, and suddenly it was nearly 1 am. Just now up and walking the dog, and I'm a little hungover. Gronk.
