Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Spike ,'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I've seen SO MANY episodes of violent rage working in DV and homeless teen shelters and with high school students that pretty much nothing phases me.

And my friends are a pretty drama-free bunch, as are my family members.

But then again, I don't have any triggers about violence -- YMMV. My reaction is usually "keep everyone else safe," try to de-escalate the sitch, in professional situations.

If someone acted like that in my HOME (I'm thinking of "I have a party and a guest of a friend freaked) it's be de-escalation, then it things got worse, gethefuckout, even if I have to physically do it myself and call the cops.

I have my crankypants on this morning.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Laga, have fun!! And yay for D being a sweetie.

Jilli, I have had lasers shot into my eye several times!! I did not enjoy the experience, but it beats the heck outta going blind!! May this be the end of it.

Man, had dinner at a friend's house, drank the wine, got into some passionate but courteous debates with her and her bf, and suddenly it was nearly 1 am. Just now up and walking the dog, and I'm a little hungover. Gronk.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wow, the upcoming Coilhouse party in NYC looks like a Gothy German expressionist dark cabaret wonderland.

Whoo hoo! So glad you are enjoying a stellar social life here.

I'm reminded of Juliana's arrival in North Beach.

Hee. Well, we are twins.

Speaking of social lives, Nora, what are your weekend plans? Wanna hang? StW and I are going tubing with the local RPCV group on Saturday, but that's all I know. I need to check Tipitina's calendar - there were some bands coming I want to see, but can't remember when.

Weekend plans are open- still recovering from the bronchitis, so hanging out at, like, Pete's isn't a great idea. Probably will hit the Avenue Pub on Friday though.

You going to the ICNA thing tonight?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I love smonster and Nora being neighbors. I just do. Of course, it makes me want to win the lottery, and buy an island for all of us, but....

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Let's win the lottery and buy NEW ORLEANS.

Toddson, thanks. She's very aware of copyright issues, and only uses books that are out of copyright. She's waiting for Ella Enchanted. (She was surprised that anyone besides she and I knew about that book.)

Jilli, thanks! I think they're beautiful too, especially considering she's only been doing this a few months. But my good opinion, in her mind, just means I love her.

Nora, I think so. You?

Let's win the lottery and buy NEW ORLEANS.

Ahaha. There are many exciting real estate opportunities here.

Okay, time to go figure out WTH I'm wearing to today's interview.
