Just *ripped* my moron ex-stepbrother on FB about drug testing welfare recipients...it really pisses me off that people think the problem with such processes is that they are too *easy* and *dignified*. And from this guy, to boot. I mean, I'm glad he grew up and held down a job eventually, but when I knew him best, his sweat had buds and seeds and he lied to his dad for five years about "studying for" his GED. Yeah, I'm really going to let you play the "hardworking family man/taxpayer" card. As if! I don't let my inner Grabien loose on Facebook often...post*that* as your status.

I'm glad about it, but I feel stupid, too. I know for a fact this guy barely got out of high school(my mother used to call him "dipshit no. 2", his older sister being, of course, dipshit number 1") so on one level it's fish in a barrel for me and my girl Rachel Maddow, but at the same time, I think we all lose when stupid goes unchallenged for too long. Also, if we allow that kind of overreach by states, it's not good. Also, he might have to look up "probable cause" and self-incrimination, since they were not included in Hooked on Phonics. Ten to one, he thinks benefits are WAY bigger than they are, too. In my experience, most people do, even kind of smart ones.
