uggghhhhh, nightmare tenant is back in town and freaking because she hasn't gotten her rent refund check- because it got sent back as undeliverable to the address SHE provided. She's ranting and raving and threatening to break into the condo.

My property manager got the calls.
I'm afraid that the police can't do anything, because technically her lease is still valid and she hasn't gotten the check that was supposed to sever the contract.

I'd think that if you can provide proof of the check being written and sent to an address she provided that was established as not valid, it would provide some leverage on your part.
ETA: Of course, I say this with the blind faith that the righteous and the Buffista will prevail.
