Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Ooh leeks. Do you use bacon, heavy cream, and nutmeg?

Laga and Sail have me now craving an onion tart!

I saw the words "onion tart" on facebook and that was all it took but I realize I still have leftovers to deal with so Tarte a l'Oingnon will have to wait until tomorrow.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Nope, I use cream cheese, egg and milk and hot sauce.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Text Messaging with My Sister:

Her: Hey! How's your day been so far (though it prob just started! Haha)
Me: I AM NOT WEARING CLOTHES.
Her: Um, well that's not what I wanted to hear but I hope you're not at work like that Mr.
Me: We have a very lax dress code.
Her: You mean you LACK a dress code.
Me: Ooh, clever.
Her: I learn my wittiness from the best (ie my two brothers)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Laga,

I think you have special pill swallowing skills.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

How in the heck do I dress for a job interview in New Orleans summer that involves being out on a potential job site for part of it? Closed toe shoes and long pants, yes... and a short sleeve blouse, I guess?

Art Crawl!!!

Man, I hate it when I sometimes don't take the pill right. (I don't know why it happens - but sometimes it does.)

How would you dress if you were a male? Would the shirt be a polo or a button down?

“Not dead yet!”

Skipping and skimming like a skimmy thing-- go smonster on your job interview-- you're totally going to rock it!

Much ~ma and feel better to everyone who needs it.

I'm in recovery after my weekend of dancing-- yesterday went okay. I kind of choked on cha-cha which is still pissing me off, but it gives me something to work towards. I was thinking too much, which Lewis said was clear. He could see the wheels turning and smell the smoke. The rumba was better-- and I did take a first in one of the heats, but overall, what I got out of the weekend was seeing concrete evidence of what I want to accomplish, the bad habits I want nip in the bud, and putting some faces and names to the people I'm going to run up against as I start competing more throughout the West Coast. (Which... *she mumbles somewhat sheepishly* I'm going to do.) Should things continue progressing the way I want, I'll be in SoCal for the Hollywood Dancesport Series the first weekend in November.

I also saw a LOT of tacky ballroom gowns/dresses. Oh my word, I'm so glad my instructors steered me in the right direction with respect to laying out money for nice gowns now.
