Love isn't brains, children, it's blood, blood screaming inside you to work its will.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

smonster, I forget where I saw the original recipe for winter veg soup. I start with onions sauteed in olive oil, then add garlic, sautee, then add broth, then chopped veggies in the order of how long they take to cook. Potatoes, tomatillos, carrots & whatever else looks good. Fresh herbs, (usually dill) and stir a tiny bit of cream into each bowl before serving. Is that enough info?

edit: forgot to say shir: thanks for posting. It's all we have been talking about this morning so of course I forgot to mention it here.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Thanks guys- he doesn't seem to be in any pain, and is chilling out- I think the medication is helping him relax. I checked on him to make sure he's not too lethargic, and he's not. Also, his bladder is definitely empty, and not backed up. One of the vets at the emergency place told us that if there was blockage, it would be evident from external checking, and showed us how to check.

I check every once in a while to make sure, and he doesn't even mind me touching the area so much, just general cat suspicion of why the human is touching his underside area. But he's definitely not in pain, and is chilling in his usual spot, guarding the front door.

I'm SUPER paranoid about blockage, I know how fast it can go downhill.

Anyway, thanks for the kitty-ma!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Poor kitty! I hope he feels better soon.

WS, I think -- and I'm no expert -- that employer's want any employee to fill out an incident report ASAP for any work-related injury, preferably the same day, unless you're in the hospital.

So do it first thing on Monday morning, and if any co-workers saw the hit, or if you can get a statement from any client witnesses, make sure to include it. I don't know how hard a hit it was, but if you bled, and are feeling neck pain, it could or could not be related to that incident.

CYA, baby. CYA.

Much Taz~ma.

Goodness, I'm sleepy today. Luckily I don't need to go anywhere or accomplish much of anything (except laundry).

I hope your neck feels better soon, WS.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

So do it first thing on Monday morning, and if any co-workers saw the hit, or if you can get a statement from any client witnesses, make sure to include it.

It was documented immediately in the individual's behavior program notes. It didn't occur to me until yesterday that there might be lasting effects for me.

You should be golden, then, WS.

ION, I have realized that I am freelancing, and I don't have to color my hair a more subdued red anymore.

I feel well enough today to go and get my brows waxed (it's been 3 MONTHS!! At least! THE HORROR!) and I am going to stop by Sally's and get the stuff to concoct a hot blazing red.

If Plei is around in the next hour or so, any tips on combos of dye for a good, hot red? It's been a while since I've used a corporate-approved Feria kit, so I'm looked for combos. I'm thinking Felicia Day red.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Taz~ma, Nora! We didn't make the 2nd line either. I went to brunch at Bill's house which was much fun - there was karaoke where enthusiasm was valued over quality, and we all sang together and played percussion. I took the lead on "Don't Stop Believin'," and didn't do too badly. Plus, spent some time talking to Bill and a environmental lawyer/solar contractor - got more good ideas on people to contact and places to look for work.

WS, I would say take it easy and maybe take some ibuprofen or something. If the neck contines to hurt, you may want to visit a chiropractor to make sure nothing's out of alignment.

Laga, I think that was bonny asking about the soup, but it sounds yum.
