Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

ION, I have realized that I am freelancing, and I don't have to color my hair a more subdued red anymore.

I feel well enough today to go and get my brows waxed (it's been 3 MONTHS!! At least! THE HORROR!) and I am going to stop by Sally's and get the stuff to concoct a hot blazing red.

If Plei is around in the next hour or so, any tips on combos of dye for a good, hot red? It's been a while since I've used a corporate-approved Feria kit, so I'm looked for combos. I'm thinking Felicia Day red.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Taz~ma, Nora! We didn't make the 2nd line either. I went to brunch at Bill's house which was much fun - there was karaoke where enthusiasm was valued over quality, and we all sang together and played percussion. I took the lead on "Don't Stop Believin'," and didn't do too badly. Plus, spent some time talking to Bill and a environmental lawyer/solar contractor - got more good ideas on people to contact and places to look for work.

WS, I would say take it easy and maybe take some ibuprofen or something. If the neck contines to hurt, you may want to visit a chiropractor to make sure nothing's out of alignment.

Laga, I think that was bonny asking about the soup, but it sounds yum.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

good grief. how the heck are you doing?

Mostly just stiff and sore. I don't really think I will need to see a chiropractor or anything, but if it doesn't ease up in a timely fashion, I do want it taken care of. Thanks everybody.

I liked the Wella stuff. Of course, I haven't used chemical dyes for four years, so I gots nothing.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I have gotten a bright red from Garnier Nutrisse, not sure if they have one as bright as FD.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Take care of yourself, WS.

I am waiting for Jilli to do it first so I can get tips. Then I'm going to use Zoya's Marley and maybe early Anne Rice and call it "Ghost in the Snow" mani.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

WS - any blow to the face could easily cause you to jerk your head hard enough to cause whiplash. Ice/heat- whichever feels good. I also found that whenever my neck muscles act up small, constant movement helps a LOT. Think tiny bobble head. It keeps the muscles engaged so they spazm less. Not as good as a tens unit, but heckuvalot better than the burning agony i get when trying to keep it immobile.
