Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Dear KITTEHS OF REASON:

Congratulations! You have landed yourselves among some of the best people on the planet. Please to be causing them smiles and giving them at least occasional snuggles.

KTHXBYE! Lots of luv, Me

Barb, that it awesome for your first competition!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Barb! Congratulations!

Jilli, the new kittens are adorable and they look so mischievous. Enjoy them.

Our wings are not tired.

Awesome stepping there, Barb! (pictures?)

Kitties!

Yay for super social smonster!

Now to make french toast for the Bobster and me before we continue our demolition project. We are tearing out ceiling boards and old insulation (goggles and masks) to expose the beams and rid the environment of mold. Exciting, huh.

Hey. New board.

Kitties! And congrats, Barb, that's awesome.

I am skipping a several hundred posts because I again got hopelessly behind during the first-week-of-new-job-and-closing-on-a-house adventure. In short: the job seems just as awesome now as it seemed during the interview, the house is even more beautiful and interesting than we expected (we keep discovering surprises, like flower and vegetable beds that are so hidden under weeds we thought they were just overgrown lawn patches, and an old linen closet that was painted shut and turns out to be very nice inside), the rest of our furniture comes today so we can sleep on an actual bed tonight instead of a leaky air mattress, and we met Kate P in person the other day! Which was awesome.

Life continues at a brisk pace, and all is well. I will hopefully have a more consistent schedule starting next week and will be able to check in more often.

You guys continue to be awesome.

Wow Barb, tres impressive competition there! A first!

And yay too to Gris for the continuing good job sitch and to the Reasons for such lovely little kitties. Egad are those two cute. I don't think you've lost your minds at all because KITTENS!

I can't believe my husband and son are still asleep, snuggled together in MY bed as a matter of fact. Isaac never sleeps in. Franny and I went to get bagels and cream cheese and have been having mommy-daughter bonding time. Delicious morning.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I have been skating this morning and my coach was pleased with my progress today, so that's a great start to my birthday!

Very ancient insulation, like sawdust stuff, plus any scraps of construction debris they tossed in there. Total yuck. Long sleeves, masks, goggles.

Yay Scrappy! And Happy Birthday!

Nice progress, Gris.
