Kaylee: You're nice, too. Mal: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

bonny,

can you get any estimates from other companies about how much these kind of services typically cost? maybe some google searches can point you to salary levels?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I DO fear that she will be super resistant to being educated to the reality of what she is asking.

Uh, let her be resistant. She can be resistant while you're off doing other things for more money.

Maria, I hope you are not joking because you HAVE to know that this town is the epicenter of need for that particular business.

I just consulted to an gentleman who is negotiating a (gulp) 58 million smackeroo contract deal to rescue a traditional manufacturing firm from certain death. He needed an emotional strategy because his 'you should bow to my credentials!' strategy was not working.

It was so FUN!

Honestly, I would give anything to be Counselor Troi for an organization that values quality of life issues and paid decently.

Like Zappos. I an green with envy...and it's not a good color on me...over Zappos' in-house life coach.

I want that job!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Her walkers, depending on how motivated they are, can make up to $60 per hour...A pack of 4 dogs at $15 for a half hour walk.

KILL IT WITH FIRE.

At this point, I don't care what her intent is. She's still taking horrible advantage of you. Like, people may not intend to be racist, but that doesn't absolve them of the consequences of their actions.

And, fully aware of the irony, I'm going to need a cover letter beta this evening. Anyone game?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I am sorry, but there is no way in hell that that is acceptable. I understand that there is skill involved in managing and walking a pack of dogs, but PR work requires more refined skills. You're not just being asked to execute a PR strategy; you're being asked to envision, create, AND execute an entire campaign.

Plus, I would be expending my own political capital and contacts (which are greater than even I imagined before I started thinking about it) to implement the PR campaign for this product launch.
