Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

The chips are cooked in lard?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

That was my best guess. But the guacamole is vegan, and I assume that comes with chips.

But then they just brought my burrito, labeled vegan, and it had cheese on top, sso maybe they just don't know what they're doing.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Hil,

they don't know what they are doing.

I am forcing my newly adopted monogamous ideals on the laundry. No more partnerless socks!

Would you bring your laundry monogamy over here?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Yay Ginger!

I doubt that story would have made it to our ears if his dad didn't know that we also want kids.

That speaks highly of your FiL.

So, when I've hit the point of swinging between numb and wanting to cry, I think that means I should take half a Xanax. Oh, and eat lunch, and have coffee.

Yes, dear, it does. And like pain relief, I think it's easier to catch anxiety when it's small than try and relieve it when the demons are roaring. IOW, eat regularly and don't hesitate to take the Xanax when you start to need it.

I can picture myself loving noone but him until I get old

Aw.

meanwhile I sat in front of my computer wishing ita dated girls.

Ha! I did that, too. Like I think early in my days here I actually typed wistfully, "Are you SURE you don't date girls?" If I didn't apologize for that, ita, I do now!

can't say the story of St Woot isn't partially responsible for shining the spotlight on the guy right in front of me.

AWWWWW. That makes me happy. It's amazing and a little sad how revolutionary it is (IME) to find a truly decent, compassionate, caring partner.

I am forcing my newly adopted monogamous ideals on the laundry. No more partnerless socks!

Bahahahaha! Good luck with THAT one.

Yay for Buffistas in Nashville!

Yay indeed!

All hail friends who bring tasty, needed treats.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Food, medication (half a Xanax and an Aleve), ALL THE COFFEE IN THE WORLD, and a cupcake have gone a long way to making things better. I have cleaned under the library table and found a missing earring.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

So, a nice panic moment this afternoon when I restarted my computer after some updates and it wouldn't restart. It's had a weird rattle occasionally that started after one of my clumsy rugby guys stayed her for a weekend. Hmmmm.

Compassionately intolerant

Felicitations and commiserations, everyone!

Congrats, Laga, I'm so glad for you.

Maria, I know you have tons of support, but if I can lend an ear, please know it is available to you any time. Many wishes for patience, peace and best possible outcomes.

Caring gazes for all who would rather not be hugged and virtual embraces for everyone else.

Bartleby's results came in this morning (that was a _fast_ 5 days!) and they are frustratingly inconclusive...again.

Of the three needle aspirations, 2 were fat cells only and one says 'Inflammatory and malignant neoplastic cells are not observed.' There is a chance that the swelling is a lipoma...fatty deposit...but the vet is not willing to claim that as the final answer. She wants to do the aspirations again in a month.

In the meanwhile, much to my chagrin, there is nothing for me to DO. She suggested putting him on a raw diet of red meat (a particular problem for me, although I am not a full veg anymore) and some Chinese herbs. She did not indicate which herbs, so I have yet to make a decision about that.

Today, the little guy has a very bad belly including blood , but has good energy. I blame the rabies vaccine and/or Interceptor that he had not had in a few months. He blames me for not feeding him the evening meal. I'm trying to help his gut relax, but he does not like. Poor baby.

So. Not terrible news but the 5th, yes 5th vet who has for all intents and purposes, shrugged over this issue.

Argh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So now I can never date girls, because I will feel guilty for not dating smonster and Laga. Luckily you're both partnered off, so I can't feel too bad.

Well, you could date me, and tell them that's why you can't date them? :) OK, maybe not...
