Oh shit, Maria, I'm so sorry. I'll be thinking of you and your DH on Monday and hoping for the very best outcome.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, Maria, so much love and strength to you -- it's a summer of just too much suck for you. You're in my thoughts, love.
Maria, all my love and good thoughts and health-ma are coming to you and DH.
Thanks, Kate and Amy (eta: and Steph). I just really want him to be OK.
{{{{{Maria}}}}} I'm so sorry. Tons of health~ma headed to your DH and tons of coping~ma headed your way.
Oh Maria. I am so sorry, love.
Oh Maria, sweetheart. I am so sorry, bella. I am praying the everything with your DH is fine and he is healthy and strong. Mucho love to you, bebe.
Maria, you can always have all the ~ma you need, and you never need to apologize for asking. It's an infinite resource and one we are happy to give, just as we are happy to see your pixels any time. ~ma to you and your DH and your whole family.
I didn't mark my own posts here, but I have several "canned answers" saved. I use them in various pet care forums, as so many times similar questions crop up. I can email stuff to you.
Well, I started doing my own research last night and everything I'm seeing says go raw + supplements as much as possible.
Is there a specific issue in mind?
My parents have eight cats, many of whom barf on a daily basis, one has diabetes, and one has been diagnosed with IBD.
do you just want to hunt for the best possible nutrition within the limits of your budget?
This is what I want to do. My cats are okay, and I'm currently giving them half "good" kibble and half "good" canned food, but they are getting old (~11 and ~13) and I'd rather spend more on food than vet visits.
My daughter is totally random. Our most recent exchange:
"Mommy? Do you think that I think you're fat? Cause I don't. Think you're fat."
"Er, thanks, kiddo."
All,
Ginger recommended that I pop my head in here. Here's my post in Natter. If you all have tips, etc. I would appreciate them here or profile addy works as well.
Folks,
on Tuesday I was diagnosed with diabetes. This was not a huge surprise for me on Tuesday because my vision had been getting fucked up for a week.
I am, however, concerned/scared(?) with this diagnosis and I'm going to work my ass off to see if I can get off oral meds after a few weeks/months.
Are there buffistas/os here who have diabetes and can provide advice, tips, links, etc.?
