Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm sorry, Vortex. I hope the healing keeps on going well and that the upcoming job hunt is quick and painless.

I'm so sorry, Vortex. I predict it will be a blessing in disguise. What we need are some blessings that aren't in disguise.

Your fibroids weighed the same as five sticks of butter. Ewww. I'm glad you're healing well.

Vortex, where would you like to move to if you could choose?

Ugh, Vortex, so sorry to hear the bad news. I hear you about the mortgage, I'm wiffling on getting the hell out of Wisconsin, but the thought of trying to sell my condo right now makes me weep. And, damn, those fibroids were hefty little suckers.

Yep. All in all, I've lost 10 pounds since the surgery. The doctor said that my body is going through a serious readjustment, so don't worry about the various changes in eating, etc. just yet.

Yep. Meanwhile I'm wiffling on getting the hell out of NC and returning to the midwest. (Well, the Pacific NW and Vermont look lovely, but family ties and the Great Lakes are serious draws for the midwestern states.)

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Oh, and so I don't seem like a total loser, thanks to everyone who wished me luck on the interview. I made it past the phone screening, and my package is being presented to the hiring team. I should find out by Friday if I'm going in for a F2F interview.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So sorry, Vortex. Not to belittle this, but you are so amazing that I can't imagine that employers won't be lining up to hire you.
