Joyce: And what did you do tonight? Dawn: Irritated Giles. I'm beginning to get why Buffy likes it so much.

'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just tried signing up to become a bone marrow donor, and the site says that people with chronic back, neck, or hip pain don't qualify to donate. I feel useless. (My little cousin has cancer.)

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm sure someone here is interested in this.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I'm also trying to figure out how to pack efficiently for myself. I'm thinking a couple of neutral skirts and shorts, tank tops, and 1 pair of jeans and a hoodie. I am not, nor have I ever been, an efficient packer. I'm reading blogs and columns on how to survive in Europe for a month on two pairs of underwear and a sarong.

Don't include a "Time for some thrillin' heroics" shirt - turns out guns on your shirt, even cartoon guns, make them twitchy. (inside joke that I think only Toddson and Sparky will get)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

When packing for motorcycle trips with very limited cargo space, I have had to learn the value of quick-dry fabrics. Something like this: [link] I wear it all day, then rinse and hang it at the hotel and change into a nicer shirt for dinner. It's dry by the next morning. I can get by for a week with three of these (so I don't have to wash stuff every night), a "nicer" shirt and a sweater or hoodie.
