Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Maybe you're right, Laga. Although I do wonder why. When I know what I'm supposed to be doing for my job, I can generally do it very well, which seems like something one would like to keep in an employee.

I should probably start looking for other job openings. Probably after my scheduled vacation in early October.

In other news, has anyone else ever heard the term "sweater kittens" as a euphemism for breasts? I just ran across it for the first time in a a tattoo tumblr.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I've heard "sweater something" but I don't think it was kittens.

My dog ate (bug trigger) insect infested pie emergency vet or wait for symptoms? She seems completely happy and full of energy.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Sweater puppets

(How's that for a delurk?)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

My dog eats flies all the time. Dunno what that means, but there's your anecdata for ya.

Glamcookie! I'll take whatever kinda delurk we can get. Do enough people wear sweaters for it to be slang? I suppose they do.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I've heard sweater meats. Also blouse clowns.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I've heard sweater puppies.

Puppies and kittens seem slightly more respectful than meat, puppets or clowns.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Laga, I'd wait. It doesn't seem to hurt Bear Grylls!

Hi, Glamcookie! Good to see your font.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I was about to jump in and say I've heard "sweater nebulas," but then I remembered that was a joke in Blue Beetle (that had to do with, of course, Booster Gold).

(I am a total geek. I know this.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Glamcookie! So good to see you here.

We had a very nice dinner with G's parents tonight, and I was able to play with G for a while, which I have missed. I swear he has grown a foot taller in the few weeks since I last babysat for him.
