My therapist kept telling me to go by what he did and how he made me feel instead of what he said
I am going to try and keep that in mind.
Focusing on what might go wrong later will just bring that wrong into an otherwise fine present moment.
Which is what happened last night, but we got past it. I think.
Love all that you can and know what you will be okay, whatever happens.
And now I'm crying. Thank you, my dears, for the wisdom and support. It never fails to blow my mind.
It's turtles all the way down.
ah ha ha ha ha! I that ita said it because I thought it too. Well what I actually thought was, DH would love that shirt, although really the turtles should go all the way down.
My poor noodly boy. He has been sick since Wednesday, when he appeared in our bed around 4 am with a fever. His fever is gone but he's still quite droopy this morning.

I'm lovin' Zenkitty's taste in tees.
It's just that I have zero interest in being someone's rebound/good time/not that serious thing.
Some people just don't do that. You got yer serial monogamists all over the place. I'd say an analysis of his dating history is in order.
Also, do keep an eye out for tendon or joint pain with cipro. If you notice any, call your doctor ASAP. It is not something to fuck around with.
so, I've been having neck pain, but I thought that was a known side effect and wasn't worried about it. should I be?
Did the neck pain start around the same time you started the Cipro?
Does it seem more like muscle pain, like a stiff/sore neck? I'm just wondering if it's because you've been taking it easy and sleeping more since the surgery.
Zen, I forgot to tell you I got the shoes! Thank you, I luuuuurve them.

Trudy, he is a serial monogamist. Multi-year relationships going all the way back to HS. I've just encountered him at a point when he's trying to take a break from that. But yeah, he's the polar opposite of B in that he likes to be in a relationship, work as a team.
In non-StW-me-me-me, the plumber has made some repairs and the city inspected today and all is well in the land of running water. And my landlord is supposed to come do a walkthrough with me today, although I may need to push it back because I'm not ready.
Zen, I forgot to tell you I got the shoes! Thank you, I luuuuurve them.
Excellent! Wear them to some awesome New Orleans bar and have a drink for me.
Hivemind of pet knowledge: I have boxes and boxes of wet cat food in vacuum-sealed pouches with an expiration date of Oct 2010. Is it still okay to feed to them?
I think I found another lurker: [link]

Yeah, that's why I wasn't worried about it. Also, was falling asleep in weird positions on the couch, and sleeping on my back, which I don't normally do.
I called the doctor and they told me to stop taking it. I said "I know that you're the doctor and I trust you, but I thought that when you take antibiotics, you have to finish the course." She said "you're right, but since you're taking it to prevent infection, it's okay to stop"
I'd go with the doctor's recommendation. Especially since it was just for prevention, not treatment. The tendon problems can be extremely difficult to fix.
