Dana, that sucks. Was this about your internet usage?
Which is a location I would totally consider for getting a tattoo if it weren't for the terms "ass antlers" and "tramp stamp."
Word.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Aims, not trying to be a wet blanket, but are you eligible for unemployment? If so, is it more than you would make substitute teaching? If that is also so, you may want to see if you can volunteer your time. I'm just worried that you'll take one job because it pays okay, and then if more jobs don't come through, you won't be eligible for unemployment. And we know how the unemployment people like to fuck you. (originally, I was going to say fuck WITH you, but decided to leave it, as my subconscious had corrected me)
I am. And I checked and in Michigan, you can work and earn up to 150% of your weekly unemployment benefit before they stop paying you at all. I registered to be a teacher, aide, and scretarial sub ($96.00/day). The head secretary from the HR office told me this morning that if I register for all three, I'll never not be working. Espeicially in the secretarial pool, it seems.
Thanks for looking out, though! That's not being a wet blanket! That's making sure I know what the eff I'm doing.
The base of the spine is one of the chakra points, isn't it? (Obligatory fic question): If a guy got a tattoo at the base of the spine, would that be considered weird?

There was a whole HIMYM ep built around this!
(Ted gets very very drunk and wakes up with a butterfly tramp stamp. Hilarity ensues.)
I once told a doctor I didn't like people touching my neck - I think she was feeling my glands or something and had her thumbs kind of near my windpipe - and she immediately said "Oh, were you strangled once?" Which...is it just me or is that a wierd question? Is it unusual to not want people putting their hands around your neck?
That does seem like a weird question!
Though I will say, having been strangled, my reaction to people putting any pressure on my neck is more extreme than it used to be.
OK, butterfly is doubtful. How about a nice kanji?
Be absolutely sure you know what any kanji, or other Japanese or Chinese characters, mean (and any possible other interpretations - see "ass antlers") before you have them permanently affixed to your body.

cool, I just didn't want to rain on your parade, since I know that you're really excited about teaching.

Shemar Moore has a back tat, but I would forgive him
But seriously, a tattoo with the Chinese characters for "ass antlers" would be pretty awesome if it were done deliberately.

Not weird in his case. At all.
I recently saw a woman with "Agony" tattooed on her arm and when you looked at it upside down, it said "Ecstasy".
I have a friend with a tiny tear drop tattooed on the inside of one of her fingers. You almost can't see it. It's an odd place, I think.
