I didn't know where to put this news but I just read this article about Google culling names from Google+ accounts [link]
Basically Google is shutting down accounts of anyone who is not using their real life name or some variation of their real life name. This uses Second Life because SL avatar names are being culled. But I wonder if people using fannish psueds are going to be next.
I feel like I'm missing some crucial information.
On why that's funny?
Yeah, did I miss the hemophilia connection? Are you a hemophiliac? Are you talking about blood a lot? Are you dating a vampire?
No, no, no, and I really hope not. The residents at the hospital have a daily conference, and he had to run today's, and it was about hemophilia. Which is not something one smiles about. He was smiling about ME.
Okay, maybe it was just funny to me. I'm twitterpated, what can I say.
I loooove twitterpation.
And, now that I get the joke...awwwww.
In non-twitterpated but still mememeN, I think I got bitten by a fire ant on my ankle. It's been itching like the dickens since yesterday, and I assumed it was a mosquito bite, but realized when I finally looked at it instead of absentmindedly scratching it that it's swollen all to hell. Time for Zyrtec!
Ah, I get it now! Aww. Twitterpation.
smonster, eeeeeeee! I'm so happy for you and I love that he's smiling about you. Adorable!
Bright side of a localized allergic reaction - now I have an excuse for not doing shit today. Taking ibuprofen, too, and resting and elevating.
Blow Dry, smonster. With added Rachel Griffiths and Bill Nighy.
Good news on Daisy, and new nephew, (ignoring the whipworm talk. Any worm talk, actually).
Heh. You do deserve to be happy, dear!
H has kept his cute butt, too. I could hate him for it, but it (and he) are just too cute.

I was just about to post that the cold I picked up last week is kicking my ass. It's weird, because some symptoms are gone, but the cough is lingering and...my chest is starting to hurt. And all I can think is HELL NO PLEURISY.
I have a LOT of shit to do. We have stuff planned all weekend. I'm cancelling tonight's plans (at least my attendance; Tim may still go and have fun, although I have NO IDEA how he could POSSIBLY have any fun WITHOUT me [ha ha ha]). Tomorrow is a pool party, and I really would like to go. Which is why I'm cancelling tonight. I am damn sure I can't do both.
But I also need to make gluten-free brownies for tomorrow, but I do not have brownie mix. The store was in my plans for today, but Jesus, I feel bad. I think we will have to take an alternate foodstuff tomorrow, probably pre-made by the good folks at a bakery.
Just going up and down the stairs to do laundry is kicking my ass. Maybe I can get a nap.
