What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Australian spiders, shudder. Couldn't your country have forgone its legendary biological creativity just once and be known for its remarkably tiny and inoffensive spiders? Instead of the ones you've got?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Sounds like a really nice day, BT.

erika, I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Doesn't matter if you grew apart; it's always sobering and affecting.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Heh. One of my favorite days with billytea was cruising around Stow Lake in a paddleboat while Emmett peppered him with questions about the most poisonous creatures in every phylum.

Our wings are not tired.

Fentanyl, a powerful and fast-acting opium-based medication, is used often by hospitals for anesthesia. It is considered 80 times stronger than morphine and

I was given fentanyl for my knee surgery and I was so high that I told my caregiver friends to go home (they were supposed to bring me home from hospital and stay with me 24 hours) and I hobbled around all day, making sandwiches for myself and feeling fine. Around 4 in the afternoon I started to doubt that they'd even opened me up for surgery and I called the surgeon's office demanding to know why they had sent me home with no surgery. The nurse assured me that indeed I'd had surgery. I felt nothing.

I really, really, really paid for that stupidity the next morning, lemmetellyou. Fentanyl is some strong ass shit, but it doesn't last two days. Ouch. I was much better at following directions and letting others help me a month later for my shoulder surgery.

Happy Independance Day, Merkins!

um, I only know one definition for merkin, and I wouldn't use it to describe a friend. Am I missing something?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I have indeed been to Sucre: see blog entry [link] Wow, it's been almost exactly a year.

Actually, the rose and violet chocolates are being sold at Rouse's (on Tchoup, at least)and Whole Foods, which makes temptation very hard to overcome. I will, however, endeavor to try Jilli's favorites in the near future and report back.
